Is this event for men too?
Yes! The Go Red Gala is an opportunity for both men and women alike to come out and support the American Heart Association’s Go Red Campaign, get educated and get inspired to take charge of their own heart health as well.
What time does the event begin?
The social hour is from 4:30pm to 6:30pm which attendees can arrive anytime in that time frame.
The dinner and program will start at 6:30pm with the event wrapping up around 8:30pm.
What does my ticket for the evening include?
The ticket includes the social hour starting at 4:30pm with fun supporting vendors, lawn games, photo opportunities, heart health education, health screenings through Olmsted Medical Center, silent auction bidding and a whiskey tasting provided by Barrel House Liquors! The dinner portion of the evening will include touching survivor stories, an exciting live auction and an informative program with speakers from the Rochester community.
What should I wear?
Kentucky Derby attire is encouraged. Both men and women will be wearing Derby style hats and clothing. Guests may also wear anything from business to cocktail attire. Dress for a fun evening.
Does my attendance support the American Heart Association?
Proceeds from tickets will go to the overall funds raised for the event. However, there will be other opportunities to give during the night with a silent auction, live auction and a live donation time as well. It is the major Go Red fundraiser for the year. Proceeds go to funding life saving research for the American Heart Association as well as continuing to provide education and awareness for heart health in Southeast Minnesota.
